Emergency Operations Center

There is the potential for severe weather this week starting Thursday, 10/1- Sunday, 10/4. It is predicted that the Valley will receive 5-10 inches of rainfall. This could impact the County drastically causing major flooding. All citizens should make sure that they have backup flashlights, extra batteries, at least a 72-hour supply of water and nonperishable food. Any person with home oxygen should make arrangements in advance to ensure that there is an adequate supply at home in case you would lose electricity. The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be opening on Friday, 10/2 at 8:00am. All calls regarding weather, road conditions and debris in the roadway should be reported directly to the EOC at (540) 843-3357. This is a non-emergency line. If anyone has damage from the previous storm on 9/29, contact Page County Emergency Services at (540) 843-3407. Updates will be provided as information is received.
