April 2008 - Emergency Services Coordinator Gene P. Stewart, Jr. receives "Storm Ready Community" certification from the National Weather Service. The accreditation process took 18 months. Page is the first locality in the Shenandoah Valley to earn the designation, and is among 1,335 nationwide.
