Donnie-Sheriff John B. Thomas.

Dispatcher Wendy Bundy receives her Meritorious Police Conduct Ribbon
from Sheriff Thomas. Her award was given for developing and maintaining
a departmental resource list. It contains all businesses and first
responding units throughout the county that PCSO may use in time of
emergency. The ribbon is awarded for an act contributing to a valuable
police accomplishment or for submission of a device, process, or method
adopted by the department to increase efficiency in administrative or
tactical procedure.

Sheriff Thomas presents Deputy Casey Bryant the Sheriff's Office
Citation. He was nominated for this prestigious award for his role in
the implementation of the E911 Fitness Challenge. The E911 or "Law Fit"
Challenge is a national competition among law enforcement offices.
Thanks, in part, to Deputy Bryant, the PCSO had 11 representatives
competing in this year's E911 Challenge. The Citation is awarded to an
employee who has performed his/her duties in an exemplary manner, and
made a considerable contribution to the Page County Sheriff's Office.

Sgt. Kenny Boyd accepts his Sheriff's Office Citation from Sheriff
Thomas. He was awarded this citation for his actions in a firefight on
Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. The Citation is awarded to an
employee who has performed his/her duties in an exemplary manner, and
made a considerable contribution to the Page County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Stevie Owens is presented with the Police Medal by Sheriff
Thomas. By placing himself in harm's way during a firefight on Skyline
Drive in Shenandoah National Park, Deputy Owens' actions merit the
awarding of the Police Medal. This ribbon is given for an act involving
grave personal danger in the intelligent performance of duty.

Dep.
Dominika Maria Seal receives her Excellent Police Conduct Ribbon from Sheriff
Thomas. Her award was given for "tremendous faithfulness and dedication"
to the department. Her many duties include Canteen Supervisor, Work
Release Accounting, LIDS Technician, and maintaining monthly records for
all inmate work detail hours. She also takes care of all the chemical MSDS records within the jail. Dep. Seal played a big part in
transitioning the in-house canteen program to the current Oasis program.
In addition, she is always willing to go the extra mile for the
department and her co-workers. |
