Honor Guard

 

Established in 2007, the Page County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard is a non-standing unit, which consists of Deputy Sheriffs. Overall command of the unit is held by the Sheriff of Page County. The unit is under the direct control of the Honor Guard Coordinator.

MISSION

The Honor Guard's primary mission is to represent the County and the Sheriff's Office at all functions directed by the Sheriff, or his designee. These functions include ceremonies and funerals for County Deputies killed in the line of duty, for Deputies who die while employed by the Sheriff's Office, for the death of retired Deputies, and for Police Officers from other jurisdictions that are killed in the line of duty. In addition, the Honor Guard will perform ceremonies at selected events, such as parades, award banquets, etc

  • Attended and graduated from the Goshen Police Department Honor Guard Camp in  2008

  • Participated in Page County High School Memorial Day ceremony

  • Requested to march in the Town of Haymarket, Haymarket Days Parade

  • Assisted with Greene County Deputy Chad Carr's Funeral
