Crime prevention is the anticipation, recognition, and appraisal of crime risks, and the initiation of action to remove or reduce such risks. The policy of the Sheriff is to promote crime prevention using all Sheriff's Office appointees to develop and implement procedures and programs which reduce the opportunity for, or lessen, the loss arising from crime.
The Page County Sheriff's Office provides the following crime prevention services and events:
* Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T)
* TRIAD (TRIAD is not an acronym. The term refers to the three founding organizations of Triad: AARP, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), and the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA).
